SXP (Semaj X Productions) Music Network was founded by James "Semaj" Dority in 1993 as a music production, and songwriting service.
As a scouting service our clients have included Lenny Waronker of Dream Works, to looking for songs for Faith Hill.  
Our projects and talented members have been seen on (to name a few) CNN, The Good Morning Show, WTAP-WV, NBC, and radio stations internationally. 

SXP covers all genres of music! From Country to Reggae.

Our artists/clients/members of the SXP community have collectively opened for famous Recording Artists and bands such as the Smashing Pumpkins, Toby Keith, and Ziggy Marley to name a few.
TV and movie appearances include "Eureka" featuring Mickey Rourke, Sex in The City, and the Queen Latifah Show.
